Ms. Jessica Tan has been a Director of Lu International since 2017. She is currently the Co-CEO of Ping An Group, overseeing the Group’s technology businesses and digital innovations.
She has personally incubated and managed the following technology businesses: Lufax Holding, OneConnect, Ping An Good Doctor and Ping An HealthKonnect.
Prior to joining Ping An, Jessica served as a Global Partner at McKinsey & Company for 13 years. She has worked with global and Asian leading financial companies and regulatory authorities in 15 countries, focusing on strategy, innovation, operations and technology.
Jessica holds bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics as well as master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Mr. Gregory Dean Gibb has been a Director of Lu International since 2017.
Mr. Gibb is also the CEO of Shanghai Lujiazui International Financial Asset Exchange Co. Ltd. (Lufax) from December 2011. Before joining Ping An, Mr. Gibb served as the global senior director of McKinsey & Company, and subsequently the operating director of Taiwan Taishin Financial Holding Co., Ltd.
He has more than 20 years’ work experience in both multinational and domestic companies of the financial and investment industry. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies at Middlebury University.
Mr. Gibb was introduced to the “National 1000-Foreign-Expert Plan” of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee in 2012, awarded the “Shanghai Top 10 Financial Innovation Figures of 2012”, and honored the “China Top 10 Leaders of Internet Finance of 2013”, etc. for his unique and widely-recognised insight in innovative financial services.
Mr. Gibb is author of “Banking in Asia -The End of Entitlement” (Wiley, 1999) and “Banking in Asia -Acquiring a Profit Mindset” (Wiley, 2003). Both books introduced bankers’ development opportunities and trump cards in Asia.
Mr. Mao Jin Liang has been a director of Lu International since 2017 and is currently the Deputy General Manager of Lufax.
Mr. Mao has extensive experience in Internet Technology, and Research and Development. He joined Ping An in 1993 and has since then held various positions relating to information management within Ping An Group.
He is a member of Internet Finance Working Committee of internet society of China and Network and Information Security Working Committee.
Mr Mao is a graduate from National University of Defense Technology with a master degree.
Ms. Joanna Tang has been a Director of Lu International since January 2021.
She joined Lu International in 2019 and has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January 2021 based in Singapore. Prior to this, Joanna held various senior positions in retail banking and digital payment with 14+ years of experience at renowned financial institutions such as Citibank, Barclays, Standard Chartered Bank and Visa. Her roles ranged from risk management, data analytics, to financial product strategy, wealth management and strategic partnerships. She is an avid advocate for FinTech innovations.
Joanna holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth, Master in Statistics from State University of New York, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics.
Ms. Ye has more than 10 years’ of experience in the banking industry. She has wide risk exposures across market, credit, operational and liquidity risks. She was the Head of Risk Management Department, Daiwa Capital Market Singapore and other two Singapore entities, where she was overseeing and managing all elements of risks for the firm arising from various business lines including Trading, Sales, Investment banking, Private Banking and Treasury to ensure alignment between risk appetite and firm business strategy. In addition, Ms. Ye was also responsible for the new business and new product approval process. Besides Daiwa, she also served several risk leadership positions at OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank and JP Morgan Chase Bank.
Ms. Ye holds a Master degree in Art and Social Science.
Mr. Liang Wenjun, with a master’s in computer science, boasts more than 15 years of experience in financial technology research and development (R&D) in China and overseas, as well as many years of experience in large-scale technology team management.
Before joining LU Global, Mr. Liang Wenjun worked at Standard Chartered and Barclays. At Standard Chartered, he established a digital bank development center from scratch and set up an R&D team with 200+ members, responsible for the design and implementation of the front/middle/back-office systems. Starting with the Chinese market as a pilot, he successfully promoted the digital bank to 17 major markets around the world within five years. While working at Barclays, as the only Chinese technology expert in the global technology expert team, Mr. Liang Wenjun was responsible for providing technical solution support for the global technology R&D team.
